Energy Smart is a vital policy for our city. Not only will it affect the personal finances of New Orleans residents, but if properly implemented this program will be a driver for the emerging green economy in our city. We have a window of opportunity to influence this program, but this our final chance to make sure that New Orleans gets it right and we get nothing less than the best energy efficiency program possible.

On Thursday, August 27, Alliance Sustainable Rebuild Director Forest Bradley Wright, Alliance Regulatory Affairs Director Karen Wimpelberg and Alliance Legal Counsel Jesse George will give a presentation on ENO's proposal and how this will impact our residents, our communities, and our economy. A question and answer session will follow.

These Alliance staff members will provide the information needed to fully understand key issues around Energy Smart, as well as how to have impact at this time.
