LCIA's NORA Committee is excited to announce the commencement of sales of NORA (Road Home) properties in Lakeview beyond the "Lot Next Door" Program. For those interested in purchasing a NORA property in the Lakeview area currently owned by the State of Louisiana but who may not be eligible under the City's "Lot Next Door Program," LCIA and NORA are extremely pleased to announce the start of the Phase Two Program. This program is governed by a joint agreement between LCIA and NORA adopted by NORA's Board of Directors on April 13, 2009. This vital agreement paves the way for single lot purchases of NORA properties outside of the "Lot Next Door" Program.

A link on the Home Page will provide you with an overview of the Phase Two Program (including eligibility requirements), an updated list of all NORA (Road Home) properties available for purchase under Phase Two, and a Statement of Interest Form.

In addition, LCIA will host a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 pm in St. Dominic's gym to answer all questions regarding the Phase Two and Lot Next Door programs. Representatives from NORA and the LCIA Committee will be on hand.
